Laurel farm acquisition

We have yet more exciting news at Arena Capital Partners.

Recently we successfully completed the acquisition of the fully permitted 2MW Wind turbine site at Laurels Farm, near Diss in Norfolk, UK. This project has not been without its challenges and the development process prior to acquisition was a long and arduous one.

Ian Greer, CEO of Arena Capital Partners, said “This project stands testament to the team’s professionalism, patience and typical Arena tenacity meaning we are now in a position to begin construction marking a new era in Arena’s continued growth as we expand into the world of big wind”.

Geoffrey Meen, the farmer who’s land the site is on said: “ I started the process years ago speaking to the community and I’m very happy to see Arena making it happen. We need these [wind turbines] if we are going to move forward.”

The project will contribute significantly to the local community in terms of jobs and economic activity and a share of the turbine revenue will go to East Anglian Air Ambulance Service, Sir John Leman High School and Ringsfield Primary School every year.

The acquisition team worked closely with Arthur Cox LLP on this project and we extend our thanks to all involved.
